Independent Trustee Services

At Clint Fiduciary, we understand that family dynamics sometimes necessitate an independent voice to serve as trustee. We are willing to be listed in trust documents as the primary trustee or as a backup trustee. Or, if the need arises, we can step in to replace a retiring, deceased, or unfit trustee. When serving as Trustee, we will work hard to see that the grantor's wishes are carried out for the benefit of the designated beneficiaries.

Executor/Personal Representative Services

Even with a trust created, it may still be necessary to go through the probate process. Probate involves having the court appoint an executor (officially called a "personal representative") and empowering that person to manage the decedent's estate, to serve required notices, to handle claims against the estate, and to get estate property where it needs to go. Clint Fiduciary can be named in your Last Will and Testament as your chosen executor/personal representative, or can step in to that role when an independent voice is needed.

Guardianships and Conservatorships

Utah law separates out guardianships (the care and protection of a person's physical well-being) from conservatorships (the care and protection of a person's money and property). Clint Fiduciary is able to serve in these roles when an independent choice is needed, or when a nominated person becomes unable or unfit to serve. When the choice of guardian or conservator is disputed, consider asking the court or the parties to appoint Clint Fiduciary as a neutral middle-ground.

Our founder, Clint Hansen, is also practicing attorney with years of experience litigating and resolving trust and estate disputes, will contests, contested guardianships and conservatorships, trust administration disputes, and a variety of other similar disputes. He has a proven track record of facilitating resolutions and closure for families. Please consider him as a mediator for your dispute.
